In 2018, Daniel's mom was seriously injured in a car accident. What followed was not just physical recovery. It was a years-long battle with an insurance company that delayed, denied, and did everything possible to avoid paying what she was owed.
Daniel watched his family navigate a system designed to confuse and exhaust them. He left school, worked multiple jobs to support his family, and never forgot what that experience felt like from the other side of the desk.
He became a paralegal because he knows exactly what his clients are going through. Licensed by the Law Society of Ontario in 2026, he built D. Serrano Legal Services to be the firm his family never had.
